Tonal saffron colored floral brooch

She used to be a plastic bottle. Now she’s the best-dressed thing in the room.

This one-of-a-kind floral brooch in marigold, rust and chocolate brown, the center layer  of curling petals was cut from a single-use plastic bottle I rescued from the streets of NYC. At her heart is a vintage bead with a tiny pearl, straight from my fashion archives. 

Pin her on a wool blazer, a winter coat, a handbag or a hat. She turns “just a jacket” into an outfit.
